Bring a frozen turkey or two and help feed those less fortunate throughout the county! See you on Sunday!
2013 marks the 10th year of the Turkey Party! We're shooting for 2 tons of turkey for the Redwood Gospel Mission this November. The "price" of admission is a frozen turkey, which is donated to the Mission, who uses them for both the Mission's own Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and distributes them throughout the community. The 2013 Turkey Party is November 17th from 9:00 - 6:30 pm at New Life Christian Fellowship, 1310 Clegg Street in Petaluma.

FOUR DAYS AND COUNTING!
I can't believe that it's only four more days until the Turkey Party! Thanks to all of you who came to the Dine and Donate Night at Velasco's! We earned $100.00 for the Redwood Gospel Mission! Great job everyone!
Now it's Turkey Party time! Bring a frozen turkey (or two or four!) to the Redeker's home - 625 Tulare Street in Petaluma and enjoy some great food donated by our fabulous local restaurants (check out that donor list!). We will also have items for sale to benefit the Mission and two Massage Therapists who will be providing short chair massages, the proceeds of which will benefit the Mission! You all can make a HUGE difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate than ourselves during these difficult economic times by doing a relatively small thing, buying a frozen turkey. I hear Safeway has them on a buy one get one free deal!
See you all on Sunday and God bless you for helping out with this cause!

Velasco's Dine and Donate is Tomorrow (November 5th!)
We are also in countdown mode for the Turkey Party! 11 days and counting! We have a lot of great restaurants participating and your donation of a frozen turkey and support of our participating vendors will do SO MUCH to help feed those in this county that are truly struggling during these difficult economic times.
Thank you all - every bit we do helps!

Velasco's Dine and Donate!
Just a quick update to let you know about Velasco's Dine and Donate Night for the Mission! It's going to be November 5th all day! Go to Velasco's at the corner of Washington and Kentucky in downtown Petaluma and bring a flyer, (which I'm working on!) and they will donate 20% of that day's proceeds to the Mission! What a great way to start out this season of giving - a fabulous Mexican dinner for you and yours and the knowledge that you are helping someone else have a meal they wouldn't ordinarily have!

I love this town!
I just do! Petaluma is full of caring people so willing to help out a great cause! My update this week is that we have donors! Lots of them! Dempseys, Real Doner and Beyond the Glory all have said that they will donate food for the Turkey Party this year! And, for the first time in Turkey Party history, Velasco's has offered to do a fund raiser day for the Mission! November 5th, eat out at Velasco's and they will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Mission! How AWESOME is that??!! Go to these restaurants - they are GOOD people!!! Next time you all are having lunch or dinner at any of these terrific restaurants, thank them for supporting the Turkey Party and the Mission!

The Jewelry Queen is Coming to the Party!
Great news! My wonderful friend Janelle, the queen of jewelry is going to be at the Turkey Party, selling her wonderful necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc. and donating a portion of her proceeds to the Mission! Come prepared to shop as her jewelry makes excellent Christmas gifts (I know this from personal experience). Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we plan this event - we would like the 2009 Thanks4Giving Turkey Party to be bigger and better than last years. We know the need is as great or greater this year! Thanks so much for your support!

Let's Party!
Here we are...on the web. Didn't think it would happen, but this seems to be the best way to get out new information to our loyal fans!
Here's all of the 2009 information that we have so far. Check back frequently for updates!
Date: November 15th
Time: 3:00 - 5:30 pm
Location: The Redeker Home
625 Tulare Street, Petaluma, CA
As before, we also are hosting some vendors who can help you get a head start on your Holiday shopping (or finish it up if you are one of those super efficient types). They will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the Mission. You get to do a little shopping and donate further to the Mission at the same time! For the first time, this year we will also be offering two massage therapists who will be giving short hand or shoulder massages and donating a portion of their proceeds to the Mission. I am thrilled to have them!
Make this as one of your favorite websites, return frequently, and follow our progress as we happily work towards our goal of a turkey dinner for all who come to the Redwood Gospel Mission this Holiday season! Share us with your friends and invite them! Help spread the word about this opportunity to support Redwood Gospel Mission.
